-I am a full time freelancer
What’s the greatest lesson you’ve learned as a freelancer?
-The greatest lesson I have learned as a freelancer is pure patience. At first I thought and believed that things were supposed to happen as fast as possible. After one year, I realized that patience is the most important thing of being a freelancer and even a creative. Being an African American plus a female in general, I learned very quickly that I would not survive the entrepreneurship world without hard work and patience through trials and errors.
Where do you see your business in 5 years?
-I see my business moving from a solely virtual one, to a physical art gallery of my own. I am currently in the process of getting things together for it and I am accepting donations here if anyone would like to help out towards it. Thanks for your support if you can! 🙂
What advice do you have for other freelancers?
-My advice for other freelancers is to don’t give up. That moment you think about giving up is the moment your breakthrough is about to come through for you.
